NSW: Woman winched to safety after breaking leg bushwalking

A woman has been winched to safety after falling down a ravine and breaking her leg
while bushwalking west of Sydney today.

A Westpac Lifesaver Helicopter spokesman says the 59-year-old woman's friends called
for help after her fall at Lithgow.

The Roseville woman is now on her way to Royal North Shore Hospital in a stable condition.
